Cambridge Canines is more than a business, it’s a passion. When I started out, I wanted to create a small, personal pet sitting service offering: reasonable rates and a pledge to treat every animal with care, compassion and infinite patience. As the business grew, I considered hiring additional staff. But in the end, I decided to take on only those pets I could personally care for.

I know how difficult it is to leave the furry ones behind when you’re at work or on vacation, and understand the trust involved in letting someone into your home. Pet sitting is very personal and for some of my long-term clients, I’ve become like a member of the family.

Because of my healthcare background, I tend to be naturally curious. So I explored puppy psychology at Harvard (Canine Cognition: Savant or Slacker) and interviewed leading experts about feline body language. Out of that research came a series of articles about feline health. Please check them out.
